Childcare consultant; Kirk Huddleston has an educational and practical background in Business Administration, Marketing, and Accounting, as well as a Director's Qualification in Early Childhood Education.

For the past 20 years, he and his wife, Kim, have owned and operated two large childcare centers in Western Colorado. Kirk specializes in assisting child care facility owners and directors in identifying parts of their organization that need to be modified, reinforced, or completely overhauled. His primary goal is to give professional, targeted consultation and resources to help you achieve rapid improvements.

HERE'S OUR STORY
In 2002, Kim and I embarked on a shared dream — to create a nurturing environment for children where they could learn, grow, and thrive. It was a confluence of our collective experiences — Kim’s rich background in early childhood programs and my entrepreneurial journey spanning eight years, that set us on this path. Our initial six months were an exhilarating whirlwind of searching for the perfect land, courting investors, engaging with providers, and crafting numerous drafts of budgets, blueprints, and strategies.
Our break came unexpectedly one day with a phone call from Kim's former child care employer. They offered us the chance to establish our childcare center in a soon-to-be-vacated child care facility. It was the moment we had been waiting for.
In February 2003, we flung open the doors to our child care center. For the first six months, we worked relentless 10-14-hour days without drawing a salary. It was an uphill climb, but it was a labor of love. We were fueled by the desire to learn, to adapt, and to succeed. And after a mere eighteen months, we didn't just break even — we thrived.
Our pledge to our business — and to our community — is to always strive for sustainable success. Not out of greed or a desire for material wealth, but because we've seen the struggle of too many child care providers, working tirelessly year after year with no hope of progress or an end in sight. We believe in planning for the future, in laying down a clear path towards retirement, and in ensuring our legacy lives on.
Our motivation lies in the knowledge that we can weather financial storms, make payroll consistently, and look forward to a prosperous future. Having tasted both sides of the financial spectrum, we choose prosperity. Today, our businesses continue to flourish, a testament to the hard work, dedication, and passion we've poured into our dream.
